Welcome to the A.M.B.E.R.  Association of Magicians of Baltic – Established in Riga

We are the oldest magic association in Latvia, founded over 9 years ago in Riga and officially registered under the Latvian law on Feb. 2008.
On march 2009 We joined the I.B.M., International Brotherhood of Magicians, the most prestigious and worldwide known association of magicians, with more then 12.000 members and over 370 club all around the world, becoming the first affiliate in the Baltic and Scandinavian area.

Our aim is to promote the art of magic in Latvia, and the magic of Latvia in the world.
For this reason we organize a regular monthly meeting where our member can take part in lectures and workshop performed from professional magicians coming from all around the world; we have a library of books and video and an assortment of professional magic tricks, property of the association, which the members can use for to enlarge their knowledge.
Beside we have many moments, during our meetings, where all the members can share ideas, experiences and to socialize, for to keep-up the interest for the magic art in a friendly atmosphere.

We also organize once a year an International magic convention, ABRAKADABRA, for to give more possibility to the members of our club to meet internationally known star of magic and a magic improvisation fun competition, where, in the spirit of absolute fun and freedom, our members can try their skill, experiment new technique and ideas and develop the fantasy.

Meetings of the club are held, generally, the 3rd Sunday of each month on a private magic theater that host also a collection of antique magic poster and artifacts; any magician visiting Latvia is warmly welcomed to visit us in any moment, upon appointment.
